At the National Security Agency, we are committed to protecting the environment.NSA Celebrates Earth Day"EARTH DAY is the first holy day which transcends all national borders, yet preserves all geographical integrities, spans mountains and oceans and time belts, and yet brings people all over the world into one resonating accord" Margaret Mead – Speaking at the first Earth Day celebration, The first Earth Day, held on April 22, 1970, marked the beginning of the modern environmental awareness movement. Nearly 20 million Americans participated in this event which promoted a healthy sustainable environment. This April 22, 2009, The National Security Agency would like to highlight many of its Green Initiatives. |
