About James
Jim Agostini joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in February 1995, following a nine-year career in the United States Army. There, he served in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and attained the rank of captain.
A graduate of the Virginia Military Institute with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and the University of South Carolina Moore School of Business CFP® Certification Education Program, Jim is a Certified Financial Planner™ certificant and served as the president and chairman of the South Carolina chapter of the Financial Planning Association. He holds Series 6, 63, 65 and 24 securities licenses plus state life and health insurance licenses.
As a First Command Financial Advisor, Jim is committed to helping his clients pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams by bringing sound financial knowledge and trustworthy advice to a lasting relationship with each individual and family he serves. His areas of focus include:
